Take a look at http://linksmanager.com/which.html .. this shows how to link exchange manually versus using a software such as LinksManager which automates the tasks of link exchange management.

Then if you have any specific questions remaining, post them here and we will be happy to help you sort it all out. :D

Hey bro, there are no mroe coding requires in link building, you have to just know how to link the text using HTML as well as BBCODE, then you have to know how to find related blogs, specially dofollow blogs, as well as the forums. By adding comments to blogs you can do link buildings as well as by adding signature texts too you can do link buildings, not only that you can do social bookmarks too, check digg.com, delicious.com - These are famous bookmarks sites, if you can have more bookmarks on these sites you will get more traffic like that..... there are lot of things to learn.... My advice it keep reading posts on this forum, you will get good and vast knowledge about link building.... :) best of luck...

Sounds great ... if you're interested only in traffic from blogs.

Link Building is actually a very wide term that is used to describe the number of links pointing at your "website" from various third party websites.

(1) Make quick loading sites
(2) use clean and verified codes
(3) build links slowly and steadily
(4) identify your niche and work on it
