How do I request links....

from a site not in the link partners directory? I have a handful of sites I want to send the link request email to so they can sign up on my link pages...how do I do that? Anyone know?

Welcome to the LinkPartners forum.

We have a template email that many users send to other webmasters to invite them to exchange links. The template is available here: http://www.linksmanager.com/startswapping.html (http://www.linksmanager.com/startswapping.html)

If you are a LinksManager user you would just funnel everyone through your Add Link page. If the other site takes the time to visit that form and fill in their information typically they will reciprocate as well.

The add link page that I mentioned in my response only applies to LinksManager.com members. LinkPartners is a free directory of sites looking to swap links. LinksManager helps you manage all your reciprocal linking.
