I just signed up & have gone through the setup wizard, everything checked out ok. Now I'm trying to add links. I went to Search Links, but when I find one & click to add them, it takes me to their link submission page for me to fill out all the info. Have I missed a step somewhere? I thought that info & email would be done automatically.

I've searched through the how to section, but didn't find anything.

I need basic how to get started instructions for a complete newbie

Dixiedazzle,

Since you are a LinksManager user you have more control over how to initiate a swap with any site at LinkPartners.

Please notice that there are 2 different ways to submit your link to them. The one you have found is the manual method. You get there by clicking on a listing's 'Submit your Site' link under their description.

The other more automated method is more to the left of each listing. Each listing has a graphic for 'ResponseRank' in green. Then below that graphic is a 'Request Swap' button and a 'Hide' button. If you click the 'Request Swap' button you will be taken through the automated process.

Since LinkPartners is free to everyone not all members have systems like LinksManager which is why we offer all webmasters the ability to put another link under their description that points to their add link page or contact form.

Some LinksManager users will use both methods. First clicking on the Submit your Site link to open the other webmaster's site and fill out their forms. Second they go back to the window with their listing and click the 'Request Swap' button. This in effect is sending a request via their manual system and our automated system. It may seem like overkill but it is more likely to get their attention.

Hopefully this information helps to answer your questions. If you need further assistance please let us know.

Sincerely,

Phil Staff

I just found the green section on the right side. I didn't even notice it earlier.
