Aren't Findwhat and Miva the same thing? I thought one owns the other.
The only PPC we do is Google and Overture, then let them aggregate to SEs. Google is great for us - most of our business comes from those keywords.

I use searchfeed.com and expoactive.com
Expoactive allows me to set my own PPC rates.

how much do you all consider a fair price per click? and what about a ppc budget, do you try to keep a ppc going at all times or just on certain days or times? Are there some search engines you find eat more of the budget without generating sales? I have tried google and yahoo but just went broke without sales.

I use Google and i'm quite happy with it since i spend some time to manage my site to keep the visitors revisiting and I do earn, worth my spent time.

Let's see - it's free, it's relatively easy to build a feed, and lots of Google searchers see the results. How could you possibly go wrong? In my opinion, anytime I can get the "word" out there about my site or products, I go for it!

UPDATE - I've been using Miva/Find What PPC for about 6 weeks now. They send VERY little traffic for my keywords. But, at least is PPC and not a monthly fee, so I don't mind leaving $20 in the account!

The thing I've learned about Froogle is that you have to keep those feeds updated. They expire every so often, and it's up to you to know about it.

Maybe I'm hopelessly old-fashioned, but something about the idea that I'm paying real money for click throughs while slaves in Manila or somewhere are being paid three cents a thousand to click PPC links to my site offends me.
Does anyone have any experiences with PPC to share?

I would HIGHLY recommend using Froogle (aka Google Base), for all of the reasons noted above.

PPC (Pay-Per-Click) search advertising is one of the two form of search engine marketing. The plus sides for PPC marketing are that its very quick to get up and running, and its also extremely measurable. The most common downside is that it can be quite expensive and inefficient if you don't know what you're doing. A PPC expert can help you manage your campaign to produce optimal results.

I would suggest using Google Adwords if you want to use a PPC search engine service because the others aren't regulated heavily (most of the time) and you can't compare organic/inorganic search results as good without Google because they are the leader in search and will show you a complete picture of your free and paid traffic.

I know about these:
Google Adwords
Overture Listings
Sensis BidSmart
What else is there out there? Are there other programs overseas, that would still get a fair amount of AU traffic? Are there any smaller B2B sites that use a pay-per-click search model in Aus that we should know about?
