Looking for free linkchecker programs!

I am wondering if any of you know of a free linkchecker program that works well. I found one a year ago, but it was useless.

My popularity has dropped from 2400 to 1350 in about 6 months, and I feel I've got several links not reciprocating anymore.

We didn't suggest a free link checker because we don't know of any that work decently.. link checking is a time consuming resource intensive process.

If you do it too frequently, webmasters will block the bot. So you have to be careful how often you check for reciprocal links or dead links.

Indeed. LinksManager reciprocal link checker works well most of the time. And anyhow, work forwards - not backwards. Spend your time trying to get new, good, quality links, and worry less that the people who promised to link to you actually are.
