If you're referring to the links in my signature, it's not bold to be found by the SEs. It's bold to atteact the humen eye. <h> tags are another matter altogether.

I'd be careful with this blanket statement as not all links are created equal. You want to make sure that if you are going to exchange links with another site that the site in question:

Has a theme similar or complimentary to your own
Is not a Link Farm (linking for the sake of linking)
Caters to an actual audience and not just Search Engines
Does not link to bad neighborhoods.
Does not create, publish or condone questionable content such as racial, hate, drugs, warez, etc.

...and much, much, more.

In other words, put some thought into your link building strategy as link building can actually do more harm than good if not done correctly.
