currently at 22 websites.

And it takes up roughly 50% of my time!

Wow.

I only have link campaigns at two of my websites, and it takes alot of my time, I can only imagine if it were 22 sites!

People tend to underestimate how much effort is actually involved with a successful linking campaign - too many think they can just set it up and walk away and get 5000 relative links...

22 sites!!

I only have one site, but would be very interested, as I'm sure others are, in how you actually 'manage' this operation.

Do you decide on xx amount of links for each site, then move onto the next? How do you plan your time? Are any, or all the sites yours, or do you manage the link campaigns for individual owners?

Have you experimented with any aspects of linking that have thrown up interesting points? What I mean by this is: have you tried say sticking with strictly-related links for one site, and random non-themed links on another and if so, has it altered the way you now see the 'overall picture'?

I'd just be interested in how you approach each site's linking strategy.

I split up the month into 4 weeks. Week 1 has 5 sites, week 2 5 sites, week 3 6 sites, week 4 6 sites. Each month i do 100 link requests per site, review links, delete links, etc. It takes up a lot of time!

Thats alot of websites. What are the main focus of these sites if I may ask? I mean, are each one of them geared toward a specific product?

And I thought I was running a lot and considering adding another one to the 3 that I currently have. Just curious about one thing though. I used to split them up in a similar fashon, not nearly to your capacity, but more like one week, handle 1 site, wekk2 another, week 3 another. I found myself spending more time working on them that way instead of the way I currently do them which is on a daily basis.

When i would do them weekly it took me 30 minutes each, but now that I do them daily, it takes a few minutes to run through it because I am caught up.

I get a lot of requests for 2 sites (around 50 to 100 every week) and it used to be a time eater until i made that switch, all i have to do now is light maintenance and quick approvals and denials.

I could not imagine what 22 sites would be like.

Yes and no. It is like exercise or just about anything else, the results you get will be proportional to the effort expanded. On the other hand, the if start with the assumption that 5000 links are required to properly promote yourself you are going to be doing a ton more work than neccessary. The point to remember is that the quality of your links is more important than the quantity.

Hi,

Is there anyone who would be willing to take over managing multiple linksmanager accounts? We currently have around 10 accounts. Please send a private message and we will get back asap.
