Hey new to Linking need help

I was wondering is it normal to have requested over 100 link exchanges and have only five at this point. Is it a numbers thing that you will only get a certain % out of a hundred or so? What should I do with the active links that do not respond? Do I send a follow up Email? Thanks

Without seeing the site to which you seek links, I'm not prepared to venture a guess as to why you have so few.

I have one question though ... How long a period were your 100+ requests made?

Welcome to the forum. If you sent 100 LP requests via your LM account then 5 so far isn't bad. First you must realize that LP is free for all webmasters and all of them do not use LinksManager service. The speed at which webmasters respond can vary greatly. I have seen responses in one day and I have seen responses that take 90 days.

I send a mass link reminder from my LM account on the 3rd day of each month. I search my account for all links older than 90 days that are not reciprocating and it will show a list that I know has received 3 reminders from me and if there is still no response I remove them.

Link exchange takes much time, patience and hard work. Don't forget that LP is only one resource and you may have better luck by searching Google for your keywords + links and then contacting those webmasters manually and asking them to fill out your add link page.
